Amit Singh is a technologist by mind and sociologist by heart. He is a computer science graduate and worked with IT majors like Wipro Technologies as a Project Engineer and IBM India Pvt. Ltd. as a Consultant. He is also an Oracle Certified Expert, Siebel CRM. He believes technology should not be limited to labs but traverse beyond to touch the lives of the masses. Consequently he did his Masters in Sociology.
To give back to the society in capacity of a volunteer, he has contributed number of times to Pulse Polio campaign organized by Min. of health and family welfare. He has also volunteered at MenEngage Symposium, United Nations, Association for Democratic reforms amongst others. He is also trained on Gender and Masculinity issues under auspices of late. Ms Kamla Bhasin(A south Asian feminist of international repute).
Presently he is a CEO and Co-founder of Brightlanes Technologies Private Limited, a startup company aimed at developing tech led solutions to health and social sector issues.
The startup is recognized by DPIIT, Min of commerce and Industry, Gov. of India.
The startup is also registered as a Micro Enterprise by MSME, Gov. of India.
Lisners, (a tech led Mental health android app developed by Brightlanes Tech. Pvt. Ltd) is India’s first mental health android app based on Psycho-Social model of health. It is also powered by the Voice analysis technology. Amit is driving the product development in capacity of a CTO.
